Elba Park Project

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Elba Park, in our neighboring town of Gretna is a park with ball diamonds, plenty of room for little league football practices, along with a pavilion with picnic tables, and playground equipment. But like anything else, these things need to be maintained and Chatham Rotary wanted to help.

IMPACT STATEMENT

Nice parks are important to small towns, and it's no different with Gretna. The residents of the town need a place to bring their families, enjoy picnics and enjoy the outdoors.  The kids need a place to play. Youth programs need a place to schedule practice, and the town needs a place to hold events.  By providing a donation to this park the town of Gretna refurbished the park and picnic area, and replaced playground equipment.
