Through the Community Foundation of the Dan River Region, Chatham Rotary Club created a scholarship fund for graduating seniors from Gretna High School and Chatham High School, with a preference for students who are a member of their school’s Interact Club. Scholarships are an incredible source of financial assistance for young students today. Many student loans carry a “less than desirable” interest rate and create a financial burden for young professionals. Investment into our scholarship fund can enhance student performance, providing opportunities in education that will help them to succeed; it vastly reduces financial stress and helps students focus more on studies.
