Rotary Wheelchair Initiative
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Rotarian Robert Adams, supported by the CRC and our Rotary District Initiative, raised money to supply wheelchairs for those in need in the Caribbean & Central America. The money raised was used to purchase wheelchairs, and have them shipped through a distribution partner. A group of Rotarians, including Mr. Adams, then traveled extensively to assist in the delivery of the wheelchairs.
IMPACT STATEMENT
These wheelchairs were given out to persons with amputations, stroke victims, the elderly who cannot move around, young people with diseases or health issues limiting their movement. All these people and their families benefited by the work done to raise the funds and assist in the final stages of delivery. Much appreciation to our Rotary District 7570 and our Representative Robert Adams.
