Background:
God’s Storehouse works throughout the Danville and Pittsylvania County communities to collect food, distribute food resources to those in need, promote nutrition, and connect customers to local resources. The club supports monthly evening food distributions designed for working families who can't get into Danville when God's Storehouse is open. This partnership program was started during the COVID restrictions.
Overview:
God’s Storehouse works throughout the Danville and Pittsylvania County communities to collect food, distribute food resources to those in need, promote nutrition, and connect customers to local resources. The Chatham Rotary Club and two other organizations provided more than 24,000 pounds of food to about 400 individuals.
