PROJECT OVERVIEW
Simpson Funeral Museum is located in historic downtown Chatham, Virginia. Bill Simpson's purpose of opening this unique museum is to pay tribute to the honorable profession of funeral service.
IMPACT STATEMENT
As one visitor to the museum stated, "The amount of historic and well preserved coffins, caskets, and equipment goes beyond what anyone could imagine. They have done a fantastic job restoring the building and maintaining a quality inventory of the “classics". Not only was a downtown building restored, but in it's place was established an exclusive rarity that makes the town proud. To assist in the residual strength and unfolding future, the Chatham Rotary Club continues to invest a periodic donation in the Museum.
