Project Overview:
The Northern Pittsylvania County Food Center serves Pittsylvania County from Tightsqueeze to the Campbell County line. The distribution focuses on low and fixed income families in northern Pittsylvania County by delivering monthly food boxes. The club has financially supported the Food Center as one of our primary yearly donation organizations. Several members also support the monthly food distribution with their time and efforts. This support help provide food assistance to almost 9000 individuals.
Impact Statement:
Volunteers pack and distribute food, providing nutrition to families in need to prevent hunger, reduce food insecurity and improve local food systems in Pittsylvania County.
