Background/History of Project:
Promoting community involvement and fundraising, the Chatham Rotary Club has sponsored this project for 4+ years.
Project Overview:
As part of the Hometown Heroes July 4th celebration for 2025, the Chatham Rotary Club presents the Field of Honor. Located in a field beside the Old Dominion Agricultural Center (ODAC) the display features an array of approximately 350 American flags.
Impact Statement:
The Field is located beside a traveled highway (U.S. 29) and inspires tourists traveling by, as well as the local community during the month revolving around the 4th of July.
