Background/History of Project:
For man years, our club has been dedicated to this project as we maintain a yearly donation of dictionaries to area 3rd graders.
Project Overview:
Chatham Rotary Club members pay for and distribute dictionaries to over 200 children in the third grade at all the elementary schools in Pittsylvania County each year.
Impact Statement:
Introduce Rotary mission and values. Inspire love of reading and learning at a critical time in the development of young people’s minds, resulting in a positive impact on reading comprehension.
