Chatham Rotary Club Presents Our 5th Annual
Hometown Heroes 4th of July Celebration

The Chatham Rotary Club and Town of Chatham VA are excited to bring you the 2025 Hometown Heroes Celebration. This will be a weekend of celebration, family fun presented by partnering community groups, concerts, and fireworks. This community-focused weekend will provide lots of opportunities to celebrate our great Town, County, and Nation. It is made possible through the generous support of our sponsors.

Saturday, June 28

Decorate your front porch or business in red, white and blue! Judging will occur Saturday, June 28, at noon. (Please leave your decor in place through Sunday, July 6, if possible.)
- 4:00–8:00 pm: Cruise-In
Tuesday, July 1

- Live music
- Activities for kids
- Fresh produce
- Locally grown meats
- Fresh roasted coffee
- Fresh baked goods
- Jams and jellies
- Arts and crafts
- & much, much more!
Saturday, July 5
Dedicate a Field of Honor flag to your hometown hero — military, firefighter, police, first responder, teacher, parent, or community leader. Dedications will be recognized in the Star Tribune and at the closing ceremony at ODAC on Saturday, July 5, at 9:00 am. (If you wish to keep your flag, you may pick it up after the ceremony.)
Water slide and bouncy house, food trucks, music! 3:00 – 6:00 pm at Rotary Park (corner of Center Street and Main Street).
Everyone welcome to walk or ride! Don your best patriotic costume and decor. Welcome: Vintage cars, trucks, and tractors; and bikes and trikes, wagons, skateboards, scooters, skates! Line up on Hurt Street, starting at 4:00. Parade starts at 7:00 pm on Main Street.

Town of Chatham & Chatham Rotary Club present the 2025 Fireworks Show! Show will begin at approximately 9:45, when it is dark enough for optimal viewing. Limited parking available at Hargrave Military Academy.

Performance by the Rainier Trio at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, sponsored by Chatham First.
