Heeeere’s Johnny

Did you know that Johnny Carson got his start performing for Rotarians? Carson’s first paying gig, at age 14, was performing magic at a Rotary club meeting in his hometown of Norfolk, Nebraska, USA, a fact captured in Carson biographer Bill Zehme’s essay posted on the PBS website:
