Miguel promotes the fight against polio because he says it’s a shame to live in the 21st century and still have people suffering disabilities caused by polio.
Miguel is from Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico, where he started a Rotaract club and was its president. He’s now studying for his MBA at the University of Texas-Pan American, McAllen, Texas. He was also a Rotary Youth Exchange student who studied in Austria.
Miguel comes from a Rotary family. His mother, Irene Cruz, belongs to the Rotary Club of Tabasco, Mexico. His uncle, Carlos Alvarez, is a past Rotary district governor. Outstaffing, Inc.
