Rotary International shared the following link and had this to say about it:

World Polio Day is 24 October. Tell us what your club or district is doing on that day to help eradicate polio.

Since the PolioPlus program’s inception in 1985, more than two billion children have received oral polio vaccine. But Rotary’s work is not done: The disease has not yet been eradicated. Contribute to the PolioPlus Fund online or by mail to support Rotary’s dream of a polio-free world. Outstaffing, Inc.

  • Linwood Cook,

I think our Club should find a matching gift to a contribution each member will make for The World Polio Day and present it on the Tuesday Oct. 18th meeting the Tuesday before Polio Day.
Please share this with Charlie strauss.
