Why Is Attendance Important?

Fundamental to the very existence of Rotary is participation and attendance.
However, you don’t have to attend every weekly meeting to have good attendance; your involvement in projects, committees, events, etc., counts towards your attendance statistic, which is reported to Rotary International. This is why the leadership team wants every member to serve on at least one committee. Furthermore, the attendance figures we report serve as the primary indicator to District and Rotary International as to the health and strength of our club. For more information on how easy it is to maintain a good attendance, please refer to the Club Constitution. Good attendance is not difficult; it just means getting involved.

If you will be away and wish to attend a meeting there, click on the club locator link to find locations and times.

You may also make up a meeting online by clicking on this link. Once on the site, follow the instructions for a make up and email your completed Make Up Request Form to secretary@chathamrotaryclub.com.
