Pakistan. Polio. Art.

In an area of Pakistan with the highest number of polio cases, UNICEF and a Rotary club arranged an art competition for children around two themes: “Story of a polio affected child” and “Polio vaccines save from disability.”

    Phil,

    Kids teaching kids! Maybe that is the way to reach reluctant parents in those countries that still resist the vaccine.

      Their fear of the West is deep in their culture and goes back generations. Rotary as a politically neutral organization is uniquely positioned to make the eradication of Polio a reality.
