Chatham Rotary Thankful For A Successful Auction

The Chatham Rotary Club held its 6th Annual Charity Auction at the Chatham Community Center on April 30th. Over 200 attended the event with dining and dancing provided. The total auction will exceed $16,000.00. The Clubs Officers and Membership wishes to thank the faithful supporters from the Town of Chatham and Pittsylvania County.

In the past the Chatham Rotary Club has supported Chatham Fire Department, Chatham Community Center, Oak Grove Lodge, Rotary Park on Main Street, Trash Cans, Streetlights, Francis Hurt Park, Dictionary Project with Dictionaries for all 3rd Grade Students, “Soundcheck”, CHS Robotics Team Chatham, Boys and Girls Club, DCC Scholarships and PCS Alternative School. The most recent International Projects have been “Polio Plus”, Shelterboxes for Haiti, and the Japan Earthquake Recovery.
